Privacy, in plain language.
Stillpoint is designed to help you regain attention, not collect it. This policy explains the small amount of information involved when you use the app or this website.
Effective August 3, 2026
Your reflections stay on your device.
Analytics are optional, coarse, and anonymous.
We add no analytics or advertising cookies to this website.
Who is responsible for this policy
The data controller is Ruvindi Hulangamuwa, at Gipskruidweg 28, Almere, 1313CT, Netherlands. Privacy questions can be sent to intellogicsoft@gmail.com.
What stays on your device
Stillpoint stores your preferences and any reflections you choose to enter locally on your device. They are used to make the app work for you. Stillpoint does not operate an account system or cloud database for this information, and we do not receive it.
Removing the app or clearing its storage may permanently remove this local information. Stillpoint does not currently provide cloud backup or cross-device recovery.
Optional, privacy-conscious analytics
If you actively opt in, the app uses Aptabase to send a small set of anonymous, coarse product events. These events help us understand only whether the app opened, whether a support flow was opened, or whether learning content was opened.
Analytics never include symptoms, reflection text, exercise or protocol identifiers, which support flow or article you opened, your responses, safety-section activity, or a stable user or device identifier. Analytics remain off unless you choose to enable them, and you can turn them off again in the app.
Each event includes a timestamp, a temporary session identifier, and limited technical context such as app and build version, operating system and version, locale, debug status, and SDK version. Aptabase derives a separate daily identifier from request data using a salt that is discarded every 24 hours. It does not expose a stable cross-day or cross-app identifier to Stillpoint.
We use Aptabase's EU region, where analytics are processed and stored in the European Union. Aptabase may retain these anonymous records for up to five years. Turning analytics off stops future events; because historical records cannot be linked back to you, neither we nor Aptabase can locate and delete your individual events.
Crash reports
Stillpoint uses Sentry in a privacy-restricted configuration to understand technical crashes. A crash report may contain the error, a technical stack trace, the app version, operating-system version, and general device model needed to diagnose the problem.
Session replay and performance monitoring are disabled. We do not enable Sentry’s default collection of personally identifying information, and we do not intentionally attach your reflections, choices, safety activity, or analytics identity to crash reports.
Crash reports are stored in Sentry's Germany (EU) data region. Our current Sentry Developer plan provides a 30-day lookback, so we retain crash reports for no more than 30 days unless we delete them sooner.
Why we process this information
Optional analytics are processed only with your consent. You can withdraw that consent in the app at any time. Limited crash reports and update-delivery data are processed to keep Stillpoint reliable, secure, and available, based on our legitimate interests where permitted by applicable law.
App updates
The app uses Expo Application Services (EAS) to check for and deliver compatible software updates. Expo may process technical request information needed to provide an update, such as app and runtime version, platform, and ordinary network request data such as an IP address. This is update delivery, not behavioral analytics.
This website
We do not add analytics, advertising trackers, contact forms, user accounts, or advertising cookies to this website. Cloudflare Pages hosts and protects the site, so Cloudflare processes ordinary network request data, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, and technical headers, to deliver and secure it. We do not use this hosting data to profile visitors.
If you email us, your email provider and ours process the message and address so we can respond. We keep support correspondence only as long as it is reasonably needed for support, safety, and legal records.
Who Stillpoint is for
Stillpoint is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us so we can address it.
Service providers and legal requests
Aptabase, Sentry, Expo/EAS, Cloudflare, and our email provider act as service providers for the limited purposes described above. They may process data in different countries under their own contractual and legal safeguards. We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect people, rights, or the service.
We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
You can leave analytics off, disable them later, edit or remove local app content, or uninstall the app. Because local reflections are not sent to us, we cannot view, export, or delete them for you. For questions about a support email or other information we may hold, contact us.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive personal information, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Some requests cannot apply to local content we never receive or anonymous events we cannot identify.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Stillpoint evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Privacy questions can be sent to intellogicsoft@gmail.com.
